Shaker Square Collaborative formerly SHAD works to preserve, improve, and strengthen the neighborhoods surrounding Shaker Square through community advocacy, beautification efforts, neighborhood partnerships, and local engagement. We connect residents, businesses, and community leaders to protect the area’s historic character while supporting safe, vibrant neighborhoods for future generations.

For nearly five decades, citizen-led organizations like FOSS, SHAD, and now Shaker Square Collaborative have been dedicated to protecting the history, beauty, and long-term vitality of the neighborhoods surrounding Shaker Square.
